Okinawa Kobudo is a collection of weapons techniques from the island of Okinawa. The evolution of these techniques, first called Ko Bujutsu and now better known as Okinawa Kobudo are a parallel path of the discipline of Karate.
The practice of Kobudo comes to us with the same spirit of its origins.
We mainly practice the Yamanni-Ryu Kobujutsu style and other Kobudo lines especially the Oyakata Kobujitsu, being precursors of the two styles in Spain.
Yamanni Chinen Ryu has been described in the past as an "unknown" style, it was more of a "secret" style.
Because he is very technically demanding, he has never had more than a few expert instructors.
He has always been highly respected in Okinawa, has even been revered and is considered the root of much of modern bojutsu.
